Media Sales / Senior Account Manager

As a Senior Account Manager, you will:

• Drive new business while managing existing accounts across the Owen Sound region and Zoomer Media’s radio channels.
• Build strong client relationships and craft advertising strategies that deliver measurable results.
• Thrive in a role perfect for motivated sales professionals passionate about multi-channel radio and consultative selling.

What You'll Do

• Actively manage and grow a mature account list while identifying new business opportunities in Owen Sound and across multiple Zoomer Media radio channels.
• Be out in the field regularly, meeting clients face-to-face to build relationships and uncover new opportunities.
• Consult with clients to understand their business goals and develop tailored advertising strategies that deliver results.
• Prepare and present compelling proposals that showcase the value of advertising across Zoomer Media radio channels.
• Negotiate contracts to create win-win outcomes for both clients and the company.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns run smoothly and client expectations are exceeded.
• Keep a pulse on market trends and competitor activity to drive growth and uncover new revenue streams.

What You Have

• Proven success in account management and business development, with a strong sales background; media or radio sales experience is a plus.
• Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and projects effectively.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and focused on exceeding sales targets.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Knowledge of the Owen Sound and surrounding region and the businesses within.
• Living within the Owen Sound region is a MUST
