Purpose: Implement, edit, write, and upload content across all ZoomerMedia TV Division digital properties and channels, including all TV-related websites, video platforms, apps and social media

Key Responsibilities:

  • As directed by the Marketing Manager, create, write and implement audio-visual content for TV digital properties only, including websites, social media channels and apps
  • Maintain and monitor daily content and schedule updates via scheduling software Wide Orbit for TV websites and related digital properties as required by the TV broadcast schedules.
  • Upload and post streaming video content to websites and digital properties according to contractual requirements
  • Create, post and monitor daily content updates for TV Division social media accounts
  • Write and publish promotional articles for ZoomerMedia TV division websites
  • Assist with community engagement and follower relations for TV division social media channels
  • Format images and edit video as required for promotional support for content initiatives and ongoing TV broadcast schedule
  • Work closely with ZoomerMedia digital team to report, troubleshoot and direct implementation of IT and Developers technical fixes and upgrades to TV digital properties
  • Fulfill ongoing promotions and contests for ZoomerMedia TV Division
  • Review and prepare reports as required by Manager for TV websites and social media analytics
  • Under Marketing Manager’s supervision, download and maintain storage of promotional assets for TV programming
  • Track and schedule TV website updates
  • Update and help create new opt-ins for TV viewer mailing lists
  • Edit and take care of distribution of e-newsletters, and assist with production of other digital communications to our customers/viewers
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager

Requirements:

  • College or University degree in a digital media program or similar
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as, website content editing, web article writing or blog composition, or webmaster assistant
  • Knowledge and understanding of digital media management, file formats, social media and analytics.
  • Excellent written communication skills a must, ability to comprehend how to best compose text and articles for the demographic
  • Familiarity with programming software in the linear and/or non-linear digital broadcast environment
  • Proficiency in digital video player applications, video and image editing software and applications, web analytics and social media dashboards
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Suite programs such as Excel, PowerPoint and Word, Google Workspace and other cloud based applications
  • Organized, attention to detail, excellent written grammar. An individual who is able to multitask in a deadline driven environment
  • A team player willing to learn, with great and interpersonal relationship skills
